How we check

The rules every hotel on the map follows: which hotels qualify, where the facts come from and what we never publish.

Which hotels qualify

Only city hotels where an official source states that the casino is inside the hotel building, linked to it by an indoor passage, or within the same complex. A casino across the street does not qualify, however close it is. Seaside, mountain and spa resorts are not part of this map.

How the lines are drawn

Each line is a casino network, such as Olympic Casino or Casinos Poland, and each stop is one of its casinos inside a city hotel. Venues outside the big networks share an independent line. Under every stop we give the city, and we mark the casinos the operator says are open around the clock.

On each page we say how the casino connects to the hotel in the words of the source: in the hotel building, linked by an indoor passage, or within the same complex. We name the floor only when the source names it.

Where the facts come from

Every fact on a hotel page comes from a page we opened and read: in order of preference, the hotel's official website, the venue's official website, the regulator or the official tourist office. Each hotel page lists its sources with the date we read them. If a fact cannot be confirmed, the field is left out rather than estimated.

What we never publish

We describe a casino as a place to visit. We do not describe games, prizes or offers, and we never link to online gaming services. Opening hours and rules change, so please confirm them with the venue before travelling.

Photographs

Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons, where each carries its author's name and licence, or, when no free photograph exists, from the official website of the hotel shown, credited with a link to that website.
